I speak in general terms at this point. I am simply going by the people that I have spoken with for the last two years at the arenas and media outlets. The merger is in reference is to early discussion by outsiders who see the three from up north needing each other to survive and create a merged lea...

It would sound, in general, as if the CIFL, UIF, and (I am as shocked as anyone) the AIFA are considered the places to focus on for new teams to go. The AF2 is considered a solid place to be for a year or two and then expect the league to move out. The WIFL is just too shakey and regional at this ti...

When I started this a year ago I didn't think it would get this much use. The sad truth that has not changed is that it is no longer the fans league. The cities don't matter for the league to survive and the fans don't matter to the tv networks. It's what tv makes the sport do. ESPN/ABC/Disney (you ...

No matter who says what or intended to whatever; Dan deserves a huge round of applause for all that he has done especially with what he has been given to work with. He and Daytona Beach has been what this league has tried to be. Congrats to him and them!

Does it really make one bit of differance if the entire inddor football fan base has a perception that the league is run in a semi-pro way. The only way to argue against this being semi-pro is the scores that the Cardinals and Scorpions put up since they really are semi-pro teams at best. Just a tho...

It all sounds great, but who has actually played it. I would love to have a CFL game, but is this where I want to turn to?

What was the gimmick that the Fire Dogs used in Tupelo during the IPFL years?

Maybe if the team actually draws people based upon football this time someone will show up. That poor town has been abused by almost every league from the AFL down to the NIFL.

9:00 pm?

What genius decided that playing baseball in Canada in May at 9pm was a good idea?! And why have there been such small crowds up there? Did the AA take all the common sense with them?

Just for the record; no, there has not been any formal announcement as to changes with NBC and the AFL. In the same way that there were no formal announcements that affiliates were going to be allowed to now put any old thing on rather than the games. I just seems to be a logical next step. NBC has ...

Now, now. They declared peace a few weeks ago. I do like it though.

Rome was another of the original sites that never was allowed to play.
