The Tim Kerr group would be a great addition to the SPHL, they would give the SPHL credibility. The problem with the SPHL is the areanas. It is difficult to make the rent payments on areanas with a seating capacity of more than 3,000, as generally most areanas charge 50 cents a seat; and when you ha...

New SPHLTeams - old UHL Teams.
Just because a team in the UHL didn't work, doesen't really mean it will work in the SPHL. It generaly comes down to arena rent. You ned to pay about $1,750 per home date, get free practise ice, free office, and a free equiptment room to make a go of it in the SPHL. There are exceptions of course! B...

Perhaps...but!
You may be quite correct; but with attendance like that why did they lose their affilation?
Either the NHL team never got enough money, the development of the players wasn't up to snuff or?
Doesn't add up to me, and I'd really like to know!

Go Railriders!
Did anyone care to mention that the arena lease sucks the feasibility out of having a team there? If they were getting 5,000 fans out per game, why did they leave? That is the average attendance for an AHL team - and they are lucky to get that. And wait a minute here, the arena owners, will operate ...

The London Racers?
No disrespect to you; but who cares about the London Racers, on an ECHL board? By all accounts the British Elite League isn't that bad of a League; but..............this is an ECHL board. And how come no one had made a post since this post came on. I say what ECHL teams will fold this year or move t...

Good points, but:
The Va team has drifted from about a 75% certainty to about a 90% certainty. Perhaps higher. Keep in mind that until they start skating nothing is certain, however things are going well. Lets just say that the powers that be think it's going to happen and they are working based on that assumption. ...

Who Cares?
And what Q team precisely is located in Toronto?-or did you forget that they rotate hosting among the three leagues? Anyway, why have it in a place that only cares about the Maple Leafs? Because Toronto would make Hockey Canada about 10 times more money than anywhere else! I guess we will have to w...

Canadians eh?
No disrespect to you - you state what ever you want; but you will never see a Canadian sit down for another Country's National Anthem - well American's will sit down or even boo at another Country's National Anthem.Minor League Man wrote:Canadians...Go fig.

Last Memorial Cup for Moncton
Sounds like a major issue. I agree, I would not have tollerated that kind of behavior either. My only question is why did you let your complaint stop at the minimum wage security guard? I can't say I've ever been to a QMJHL game but I'm sure there had to be some higher ranking building or team pers...
