[quote=""gonzo13""]I'm walking on eggshells, but here goes. With the shutdown of the Osceola franchise, and the arrival of the Tallahassee team, the WIFL was left with four teams -Daytona, Columbus, Augusta, and Tallahassee. Mr. Doebler told me that he really wanted to work out a...

[quote=""gonzo13""]There is no Daytona Osceola merger. I was going to write a really scaithing article about it entitled "Cutting my nose off in spite of my face," but it was going to require me to throw some people under the bus, and I don't want to do that. .....Anywa...

welcome back...

Good to see daytonadan posting again. Maybe you can answer the following... What is going on with Daytona's af2 team? Are they set for 2008? Who will be the coach...Marquette Smith or Leon Bright? Who's paying the bills...Doebler or MacDonald? How will the OC rent or attendance be any better just fr...

attendance woes

Unfortunately, in this league (and almost all minor pro) we have 3 or 5 game series and little advance notice for the next game. It is very hard to promote a game without a date. You may only have 24-72 hour notice to promote the next game. Plus like someone else said when you start getting Tuesday ...

What a great series! Let's hope Huntsville is not as good on the road as they were against Colombus.

Seals v Antz

Great HOCKEY game on Friday. Sure I was rooting for the Seals, but that was actually a hockey game. Tonight just got out of hand.

Thoughts on the decisive game 3 Tuesday in Florida anyone?

2043 to be exact

Only a little over 2,000 at the Seal's first home playoff game. Kinda weak fan showing but their team showed and that's the main part Big bad Fayetteville only had 2558 and from what I hear that was a stretch. Love 'em or hate 'em, the Seals are the only team in the league that actually reports tru...

I hope you are right! It looks like the Seals have been pulling more fans recently and PD has new owners, but I'm not sure if Jax will stick around next year. Their attendance is weak and their rent is crazy. If Richmond jumps in along with one other team (Pensacola???), a strong eight team league w...

Good old DW doesn't own any of the teams, except the Orlando-Florida-Kissimmee-Osceola County Seals...so don't worry about him "putting teams wherever he wants..." If the league doesn't reduce the # of Tue, Wed, Thur games Jax will no longer be financially viable. But PD and the Seals will...
