Hornets select Greensboro for D-League team

I'm truly devastated. In ways you can't possibly understand.

I watched a game or two of this league. There are real athletes in here. Not all of them, but a lot of them. This is really if the XFL survived and had a women's division. The broadcasts were mostly about making sure you heard the trash-talk. The same game with women with not as much revealing unifo...

Either I was blocked from their Facebook page, or their Facebook page is gone, after I posted the ESPN story there.

Funny how that happens.

I expect to be threatened with a lawsuit next.

Trust me, Jacksonville makes perfect sense for Orlando's D-League team. I think the Magic's current affiliate is Erie. Could sell the team rights to Brooklyn or somebody else and start a franchise in Jax. Was in the area last weekend for the PFL SuperCopa. The drive from Orlando to Jax (and vice ver...

Well, I was wrong as Columbia being a favorite, because they are now out. Makes sense as they would have had to build a new venue and there just wasn't enough time to even discuss that, not to mention they just committed to building a minor league baseball stadium: http://www.free-times.com/news/may...

Cities with hockey teams are not going to be thrilled with the idea of the D-League possibly returning. At least the hockey fans won't be.

This might undermine Fayetteville.

Charleston representative said arena probably not big enough for team. This sounds confusing as the old NBDL played in the N. Charleston arena. In any event, it seems we're down to four: Asheville, Fayetteville, Greensboro, and Columbia. http://www.wach.com/news/story.aspx?id=1211981#.VWyW9U9Viko So...

Greenville, Raleigh: OUT

Columbia, Greensboro: Intending to bid

Asheville, Fayetteville, Charleston: No answer yet (EVERY hint I'm hearing is Asheville will bid)
