So long and thanks for the Fish
My Ducks have backed into the Playoffs but I'm still sad. The Bridgeport Bluefish were eliminated tonight in their final season in the Atlantic League. They had the best record in the Division but they're not going to the playoffs. It doesn't seem fair. The Fish have great fans and I'm going to miss...

This doesn't seem to make sense. Camden consistently outdraws Bridgeport but it looks like Camden is on the chopping block. Their Stadium agreement expires at the end of the season and the Stadium owner, Rutgers University, is playing hardball. I'm also going to guess that Boulton has a buyer lined ...

Frank Boulton owns both the Ducks and the Bluefish and he has a big piece of the Riversharks. He has been draining the profits from Long Island to keep the Bluefish and the Riversharks afloat. Before those two he supported the Nashua Pride and the Atlantic City Surf. They both went bankrupt. The Duc...

I was there two weeks ago. The damage didn't look that bad. The roof was partially covered with a tarp and I saw minor damage to the ceiling tiles in their office. The roof was a cheapo piece of crap, the type of stuff they use on travel trailers, and it was 13 years old. It was was looking pretty ra...

It's my understanding that even if the Referendum passes it's not a done deal. NIFA still has to approve it. It's hard to believe that a County that's laying off a substantial number of Government workers and freezing wages for others has the extra bucks lying around to fund this type of project. I ...

An affiliated team, especially if it's Double A or better, could spell the beginning of the end for the Ducks and possibly the entire League. After a decade of overfilling their park, the Ducks slipped slightly in 2010 and so far in 2011, the Duck's attendance has taken a substantial dip. Season tic...
