The Blitz had some challenges during their inaugural ABA season.

Apparently, some changes have been made within the organization and the team is looking to finish out the current season and come back for 2013-2014.

Rumor out in the community is that the Blitz have ceased ABA 2012/13 operations ... but they are promoting upcoming games on their facebook page and website :confused

It appears the Birmingham Lions and the CBL are both in play. Technical difficulties with the CBL website.

It would be nice to see some roundball buzz in the Ham ... Though, by the appearance of things on the Bham Lions' Facebook page, they have changed their affiliation to Independent, so possibly some events have occurred within the CBL to prohibit or a delay the league from moving forward ... and now ...

It would be nice to have a variety of sports teams to support in the Birmingham locality
