New TOUCHDOWNINK.COM WEBSITE
Say, if any of you have the chance, check out a new website that I think you will find interesting. It's http://www.touchdownink.com . It has sections for NFL, AFL, NFLE and NCAA football. Touchdown Tommy Ando writes some darn good stories and he's done several outstanding ones on Colorado's John Du...

Attendance Fantastic in First Week
Hey, lacrosse fans! Thanks for attending this past weekend. What a nice turnout in most of the venues. Portland had nearly 10,000. Sounds like the Rose City will like the Jax in the Rose Garden. Good job.

Dayton Website Cooked
Say folks, you can stick a fork in the Dayton Warbirds website. It's well done! The Birds website is no longer online. Want to guess what is happening? Too bad....the franchise had some good moments in 2005. Some of the players have hooked on with other AIFL teams and Bellisari is on the practice sq...

SilverBacks have good ownership
A friend of mine in Kettering called to say the Miami Valley team in Troy is backed by some excellent ownership. In fact, the coach told him he was pleased with the way the ownership wants to take the franchise. Look for some good things out of this bunch. They've signed some good players, 18 Big Te...

What Kind of Man Plays This Game?
The website is down. Ch 22 news got a phone interview with Tony P. He says the team will play in 2006, but that the team is for sale. He also claims that Jorge Ruiz, the former GM, embezzled over $20,000 and has filed charges. What kind of a game is TP playing? Let me guess? It's the accusation sho...

Officials Tell Truth
Had a friend, who also officiated in the NIFL last year. He told me it was the responsibility of the teams to pay each official the night of the game. However, he said several of his checks bounced and had to be re-issued for whatever reasons. The issue is this: the NIFL was to pay the regional supe...
