Jenkins & Whitaker also played in Fort Wayne last year.
Jenkins was cut before the first game & Whitaker was
a backup QB.

Really appreciate you posting these pics, Les.
It's nice to see pics of teams we are not that
familier with. Hopefully, the CHL schedule will
have these teams hit all of the cities one day.
Doesn't look like that will be the case this year.
Job well done..

Finally getting it going in Fort Wayne

The Franke Bros. first had to swallow their pride when they took the Komets to the CHL. They def underestimated the talent of the league. Although many would disagree, Mike & David do have some hockey smarts. It took some time, but it finally looks like this team is molding into shape. With thei...

From what we're hearing, this team is debuting a year early. The plan all along was to have a team in Indy for 2012. But, with the hiatus of Fort Wayne, the loss of Rockford & Wisconsin and the belly up in West Michigan, it forced the league to start the Indy franchise a year early, with all gam...

It could almost be the Indiana Enforcers. Many that will try out are from the minor league (outdoor) Indianapolis Tornadoes & the inactive (CIFL) Fort Wayne Firehawks.. A great question for the league would be, if the Indy team makes the playoffs, would it host a game in Indy or Fort Wayne or co...

There will be no teams in Grand Rapids, Fort Wayne, Madison or Rockford,
in 2011 for the CIFL. I'm understanding the effort in Chicago is barely standing.
If Fort Wayne gets a new investor, in 2012, they may be looking at other leagues.

[quote=""11HP20""]I'm in a public place right now. I can't just change my pants at this time. I'll have to go into the rest room and clean them up the best I can. You see I thought for a second the Beef where in the CIFL. Now I know why it's so important to put posts where they b...

West Michigan would be a good fit. And now the CIFL forum
is mentioning that Flint might return this year. With the economy
there, I'm not seeing it. On the topic of CIFL expansion, Jeff S. has
always said the perfect league size for this region would be 12-16
teams.
