[quote=""nikki""]Last I checked, to operate a minor league baseball team your looking at $15 million MINIMUM, AAA around $20+ million! For the AHL, you come in at around $8-10 million. ABA? What, $25,000 MAYBE, then pray to God you get funding? The reason minor league hoops fails...

As expected....The implosion begins. Start with Eleven and end with at least one. I'm sure more will be gone soon. Those that are left by playoff time will probably leave shortly after. At least we can count on Rochester to be there.

He had a foundation (of teams) that are considered quite viable and for the most part are anchoring their current respective leagues. Wilmington, Halifax, Quebec, St. John, and Battle Creek. You may be able to include LFS who may have stayed around if not for what happened last year. This is six qua...

It was only about 6 months ago when the last PBL tournament took place. I think lack of interest in this tournament may have something to do with the last one. Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think that the PBL has yet to have a season since their inception that did not come with controversy ov...

It made sense for us to take a gander at it and see if the community will support it, Morris said. We will commit to it as long as the fan support is there

Don't kid yourself, you'll be there til the end of the season with or without fan support or face the wrath of the PBL legal team I'm guessing.

Though there is not a stable league outside of the D-league, of those that exist I would think that stability would be determined by the longevity of its teams as well as ticket revenue and sponsorship revenue. I know each team may have some questions but this league has three teams that have experi...

Zeke, Cudos to you for bringing people together to try and solve the issues facing minor league basketball. I'm sure I'm not the first nor will I be the last to warn you that being lured in by the deep pockets by one who will try act as your vehicle to success will only tarnish any credibility that ...
