Winchester might actually have a decent chance in something like the Frontier League ... If the Legends Stadium wasn't right in their back yard. Every location in that league is an easy road trip from Winchester and they want their teams to have a nice functional park as opposed to something grandio...

I'm going to go out on a strange limb and compare Inside Football to 1960s Science Fiction television. Butera has wound up being the Fred Freiberger of Arena Football. Freiberger was the 3rd season producer of Original Star Trek. A show which (just before he took it over) had recently been shoved in...

Honestly Suge, I think you're falling prey to the "Pie In The Sky By And By" mentality. The AFL has already proven itself to be a money pit during two incarnations in less than 10 years. So there may be 1 or 2 investors who are willing at buy a team and try to keep it going. But the type o...

I am about 60% expecting a repeat of the 2009 & 2010 situation ... Where Amarillo, Arkansas, Green Bay & Tri Cities Bolted from the restructuring AFL late in December and suddenly joined the IFL. The IFL actually had to rework its schedule at the last minute because of this business coup. At...

In my opinion ... The IFL has done a much better job of recognizing what the existing market for Inside Football is and then responding to it. Because of this, the league manages to play a fairly high quality and reasonably entertaining game. And it does this while keeping the team and league expens...

Should Atlantic League Recruit Rockland Boulders?

The Boulders are averaging better than 3,000 attendees per game. Their location is convenient to the ALPB. Their inclusion would make it very easy for the league to balance out Virginia Beach.

And it would provide Rockland with an easy method of having a longer season / more income.

If you actually look at how the IFL is set up ... You'll see that Benizio is doing about as good a job as anyone could. The AFL is a Federation. Its commissioner works under a charter and has a contract that guarantees him a wide range of powers. The member teams of the IFL have set this league up a...

Piggybacking onto what Preeths said ... Let's remember that a handful of the old af2 teams waited until the last minute to jump to the IFL instead of going to the newly formed af1 (now new AFL). A part of this waiting game was that the franchises needed to clearly demonstrate to their fan base that ...

In many ways, you make a good argument.

On the other hand ... In 2009, Austin was the solid number 2 team in the SIFL. In 2010, they struggled in the IFL.

That does point to the possibility of a serious step up in the competitive level of play in the IFL.
