I haven't the faintest idea. They aren't thinking. Aren't you glad you are a Flyers fan and that someone else owns them? DSE hasn't a clue!

Confirmed...

The new Henderson team will indeed be called the Henderson RoadRunners. They will share their name with the AWL's Arizona RoadRunners, but it has been confirmed by the NAL.

Bottom line...

The North American League will be dead to rites and many teams will either fold or defect to other more successful and financially stable leagues. The GBL is dead. The NoL is dead. And ULB is dead. Yet, they think our assumptions are stupid, ignorant, inaccurate and irresponsible. If they could quit...

As far as I'm concerned, the NAL was formed out of pure desperation. The GBL has been failing and losing money, yet have sugarcoated it from the public. The Northern League has seen FOUR franchises defect to the American Association and others fold. And the ULB? Well, forget it. I say in less than 1...
The NAL could always use a high school field or something. Not that it would look professional if they did, unless there is a ballpark there that I can't think of right now.
I highly doubt a high school would allow beer and smoking at a baseball field. Th...
Interesting that Orange County remains on the list. Las Vegas? That's a surprise.
Las Vegas already has the 51's of the Pacific Coast League. That franchise will probably block the NAL's plans for a team there.

Any league-owned team will not be able to get out of any agreement unless an ownership buys them. The only way out is contraction (meaning folding). It's sad, but true. The GBL only owns two teams, the Chico Outlaws and Yuma Scorpions. All of the other teams are privately-owned, so they can get out ...

Congratulations, Amarillo!

I'm so happy to see your city getting an AA team. Too bad they can't be named the Gold Sox. One fan suggested "Black Gold". You think it sounds cool? Hopefully some teams from the old financially-ruined GBL and ULB can follow suit like four of the now-former Northern League teams did. The ...

Merge a sign of desperation...

As far as I'm concerned, this merger of the GBL, ULB and Northern League to create the North American League was done for one reason... desperation! If I were some of the more responsible owners, I would either call for a league takeover and "no confidence" vote for Kevin Outcalt or jump t...

Apparently, the new team can't use the Gold Sox name because it's been trademarked.
