All 3 will be welcome returns. Cleaver is a solid player that might not even make it in the ECHL all year before being snapped up by someone and sent to the AHL, if I had to guess. Jurynec is becoming a fan-favorite because of his style of play. And Daavettila was playing rec hockey last season befo...

Kalamazoo Signs Their First Three

http://www.wingsstadium.com/news/2009/0 ... nthree.htm

The Wings have finally made their first 3 signings, announcing the return of 3 players from last season's IHL team: Rick Cleaver, Bryan Jurynec, and Trent Daavettila.

I think the ECHL is out at this point. Eastern teams have released their schedules with Kalamazoo worked in. They're not going to rework the schedule AGAIN at this point, because the schedule has made enough fans unhappy as it is. A reworked one would be even worse.. QC's options are now the IHL, or...

Evansville Is Apparently In

Got this from FYC.

Evansville has licensing and will begin IHL play if and when they ever get a new arena built. So 2 or 3 years out, probably.

Frankes' Financial Interest in Bloomington?

http://www.redcounty.com/so-back-bloomington-illinois-hockey-questions?taxonomy Fairly rabble-rousing, slap-dash article until someone in the comments points out that a public search of the ownership of the team includes Stephen Franke's own company. I did the lookup and confirmed it myself, and I ...

The rest of the IHL is *not* moving to the ECHL. There was a chance Muskegon might follow Kalamazoo, but that's now out the window. Muskegon could move down the road to the ECHL I suppose, but Fort Wayne and the ECHL is not a marriage that will happen unless ownership changes in Fort Wayne. The IHL ...

K-zoo has no firm destination, though the ECHL still looks like a good possibility.

I'm also hearing some USHL rumblings...

I see no chance the Wings go back to the "I". If they wanted to stay, they would have found a way.

FYI for everyone... the guys that wanted to go into Indy are the exact same guys that are now in Dayton. Indy rumors died when fairly-publicly they moved on to Dayton...
