Wow, I have to tell you that had I not checked the Turfcats website I would not have known that they still were playing. I mean I dont see or hear ANYTHING about them.

Still have not been to a game....but then again, I really did not know that the season even started.

In my humble opinion. NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB are PLAYERS LEAGUES.....Meaning, Fans buy tickets based on actual players names who are playing that night......People want to see Lebron, Tim Duncan, Kobe, Peyton, Tom, Derek, Crosby etc. They purchase tickets based on PLAYERS. ALL other leagues....ALL O...

The bigger issue is you think that it was player talent that caused diminished attendance and it is my belief that since the fans did not KNOW any of the players names to begin with then the players between AFL and AF2 could be interchangable and were irrelevant in the fans decision to attend a game...
