Just to clarify, while the NY Yankees appear to be taking over the ownership of their AAA team in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, I'm pretty sure the Phillies are not involved in the ownership of the AAA Lehigh Valley Ironpigs.

It is downright scary to think about the legal precedent a case such as this would be setting. Every foul ball would become a potential lawsuit.

The Yankees traded SWB mainstay first baseman Juan Miranda to Arizona today for 19 year old pitcher Scott Allen. In 3 seasons in AAA, Miranda hit .287 with 46 homeruns.
