Well, looks like it did not take long. Tacoma is out and "Seattle" is in.

I thoroughly understand. I wrote that as a reflection of my own personal disgust of the situation as trying to state what I saw and heard around here in Everett. As for Bellevue, there has been talk off and on for years of putting in an arena, many times implying simply expanding the Meydenbauer cen...

Cannot say I am completely surprised

It has been made official that the Washington Stealth has been relocated to Langley, BC to become the Vancouver Stealth. The official statements cited a failure to grow a fan base and obtain more sponsors in the time they were here in Everett. Seeing the Stealth here the last few years, I can say th...

Looks like the Pirates went with Phoenix and the Wolves went with Vancouver. That leaves Florida without an AHL team and the San Antonio Rampage without an NHL affiliation after the other dominos fell this silly season. Only other domino left to fall is the name of the new St. John's team. Additiona...

Commissioner Garber has said before that he prefers newer names for teams (Seattle fans had to send in 1...

The rumor concerning the Southeast-based team was only out there briefly before Commissioner Garber announced his intention of New York team number two. As for the other idea, having AC St. Louis in MLS would give KC a natural rival. Good idea indeed.

Well, it looks like my question has been answered in part: Montreal in 2012. Interesting to see who joins Montreal with rumors being either Atlanta or a city in Florida.

OK time to play the name game for the new UFL Omaha team.
Here are the four they came up with: Mustangs, Spirit, Navigators, Stags.
They are also allowing for write-in candidates as well.
My personal pick is Mustangs. For some reason, either Omaha Mustangs or Nebraska Mustangs just sounds right to me.

Now with the folding of the Sacramento Monarchs, the team will not only be changing cities but conferences as well.
Western-Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Minnesota, Tulsa, San Antonio
Eastern-Chicago, Indiana, Connecticut, New York, Washington, Atlanta
