Showplace Arena and then the Maniacs moved to Cole Field House at UMD in their second season.

Showplace was great. Cole....not so much. Too big (especially when you are drawing less than 1500 fans) and no beer!

Believe they are only there for their currently planned "warm-up" season in the ICFL and that they still have their sights set on 1st Mariner for the AIFA season.

Just based on experience from last season, players from 2009 remained under contract through Oct 1st - couldnt even participate in tryouts/workouts from the end of the season through 1 Oct - so it would make sense for teams to wipe those rosters on that date to start for the new season.
