Bismarck Blaze (IFL 1)
Bismarck Blaze
League: Indoor Football League 1 (IFL 1)
Home: Bismarck, North Dakota
Active: 2000

The Blaze joined the league as part of its 2000 expansion. The team rolled to an 11-3 record, good for first in the Western Conference's Northern Division. The Blaze defeated Sioux City 30-14 in second round of the playoffs and dismantled Topeka 51-27 in semi-finals before falling to Peoria 69-42 in the Gold Cup. When the IFL was bought out by Orlando Predators Entertainment, Bismarck lost its team. A new squad resurfaced in the NIFL for the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
