In my humble opinion:

If you are worried about "dranin yo for some meaningless legue fee" then you are not prepared to run a professional indoor football team.

The "best" leagues are better because they require a well financed ownership group.

Stick to semi-pro.

My recommendations:

High-level: af2
Medium-level: UIF or CIFL
Low-level: APFL

Did I sum it up?

The league fee 1) Establishes which guys actually have the capital to make it through the year.
2) Ensure that there is money available for "emergencies"
3) Help minimize "emergencies"

Since you are complaining about said fees....I'd say no league is right for you.

So I'd rather spend a quarter of an ABA franchise to repair my car, as opposed to spending a franchise and a half to get a new car that might have some planned obsolescence that causes it to break down 5 days after the end of the warranty period.

Default NIFL game system is the best

But has the worst financial requirements for its membered teams.

Strive for both -- best entertaining game system and best financial requirements that ensures no teams can fold during the season. If that scenario doesn't exist, make your own league that has both of those requirements. Do not join a league that doesn't meet both requirements. Don't settle for less.

I have been to 30 + af2 games in
no less than 3 cities.

I have also seen several UIF games in 3 cities.

To me an original AFL fan since 1987,
they look about the same .

So what does Minor League Man mean
by "high Level" ?

The High level is the AFL.

The `deuche' and United Indoor Football,
appear to be the same from `arenas', to
`talent', to `on the field product'..

Does `High level' mean the
"high level" of money the af2 will pump
out of your account for what is no more
than a decent indoor team with fancy
window curtains i.e. rebound nets.
And a fake pedigree.

Anyone who has seen a game on the moth eaten
rug in that barn in af2 Quad City can
compare it to Bloomingtons turf and arena on any
given game day. Theres `high level' for you.

I won't even address medium level except
to say I heard you can obtain 3 CIFL teams
and still have change left over for what one
UIF franchise will set you back.

It's hard to argue that the UIF is not the best indoor league right now. Too many issues everywhere else for me to say otherwise. The UIF, WIFL, and AF2 are both solid options, but you need to have plenty available "blowable" capital for either league to consider your application. That right there is probably the difference between them and the other leagues.

So would say to invest the $150k they are asking for in the NIFL when you know like I know that they have teams even now at the beginning of te season dont seem like they will last. The man is an obvious investor like myself and we just arent educated in this sport. We come here to inquire and expect an answer instead of an insult.
