Default IBL - Single A : NABL Double A

IBL looks like you have some competition now in the Northwest, Long have I dreamed of good basketball, and it is amazing the NBA rules seem to work just fine. The rosters are stacked on these teams, it seems everyone player was a college star..

If the IBL would have decided to become a regional league last year instead of continuing with the China, Midwest, and east coast non-sense I'm not sure this new league would have been created.

I'm not overly impressed with this new league, but I also can't blame them for not wanting to pay the IBL and follow some issues I see with their business model.

NABL is DOUBLE A? That's adorable.

Here's the only "AA" you need:

Default IBL drops game to NABL

Who is better? Really? Open the eyes to the hard facts.

Tide Tip Off 2nd Season

Tacoma Tide 86 - 112 Seattle Mountaineers
The Tacoma Tide began their new season with last yearís giant strides fresh in the minds of everyone involved with the club. After a great season that ended in a valiant playoff run last year, itís important to remember how the Tide garnered their success. The Seattle Mountaineers came to Tacoma to keep the I-5 rivalry alive and refreshed the Tide memory with a 112-86 victory. Rather than feeling dejected or frustrated, the Tide look to the drawing board and practice court to cue the mistakes in preparation for their IBL league opener on April 9 @ Bellingham.

You make me laugh. If the Clippers beat the Lakers in the first game of the season would you say the Clips are a better team?

The IBL is AA and the NABL might be A. Try to be objective and look at the rosters. I admit I am pro IBL but if you compare teams rosters the IBL wins.

This kind of game makes a lot of sense, and generated some publicity.

Nope, as you are well aware the IBL and NABL are on the same level... independent basketball. That is a point we need to make clear. The difference with NABL teams is they'd rather not give Duilio a check.

Personally I can understand that. What is becoming clear (especially this season) is paying $10,000, $25,000, or whatever to some league so they can put out a schedule (and in the case of the IBL) mine your players for decent talent (so they can get an agent commission) is a total rip off.
