Default Price to have a team?

Friday is the deadline for the Oklahoma Cavalry new owners to respond to the proposed new contract for the team to play in the Great Plains Colisuem.

From what the County Fairgrounds Trust Authority is saying, right now the team is playing in the GPC without a contract.

Here is what the new owners would like the contract to be :
- 75 percent of the net profits from concessions sales druing basketball games.
Currently, the fairgrounds get all proceeds from the sale of concessions.
No outside food or beverages are allowed in during an event.
- 100 percent of the profit on all merchancise sold during games, plus the right to allow other merchandise and vendors in on game days, including food vendors.
- Control over all ticket sales, eliminating the $3 surcharge on tickets sold by the fairgounds ticket office.
- Control over game day operations.
- Rent to be a "True Cost of the Facility."
Under the Other owners contract, the team paid a base sum of $2,500 per game. If 10 percent of the gross receipts for a game exceded $2,500, the the amount of the excess was to be paid to the fairgrounds.

I am sure there have been revisions to these items and others, but that is what has been printed in the paper.

So with all of that, what do the other teams have in place for contracts to play in their towns.

I know that there has been conflicts with other events with some teams, luckily we only have to worry about Livestock shows and High School Basketball to conflict with. HA HA on the last bit there...
