The Toronto Marlies and St. John's IceCaps set an AHL record with a 17 goal game.

Goaltending was optional Friday in St. John’s. William Nylander scored 1:15 into overtime and added three assists in regulation and Josh Leivo had two goals and two assists as the Toronto Marlies come from behind to defeat the St. John’s IceCaps 9-8 in American Hockey League play.
