I'm sure you're correct that the Bulldogs were announced as local competition for the Steam, but they never appeared on any schedule of the four Great Lakes teams.

I disagree - Joe might be right here

If you took away Rose and couple other players, the Steam could beat the Bulls...

... of course, the Steam would be playing 5 players vs. 2 for the Bulls, so.......

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Olympia Rise has been added to the fast growing PAC NW Division of the league and will begin playing next season. “One of our goals has been to build the Pac NW Division,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “We had the nucleus of a strong division but needed 2-3 more teams to make travel easier and improve the competition – and we are very pleased and fortunate to have the two Reynolds brothers as part of the ABA.”

The team is owned by Reynolds Sports Entertainment, Inc, a not-for-profit corporation, owned and operated by two brothers, Chris and Tim Reynolds, both of whom have excellent backgrounds in sports and business.

Chris Reynolds was a 3-sport varsity athlete at Lakes High School in Lakewood WA before attending Walla Walla Community where he played football and Empire State College SUNY where he studied criminal justice and social services. He went on to play professional football for the Arena Football League (Detroit Fury) and the European Federation of American Football (Paris France). He is a former Probation/Parole Office in the State of Idaho; owner of Platinum Events & Security – Boise Buccaneers Minor League Football Organization in Boise, Idaho.

Tim Reynolds was a two sport varsity athlete at Lakes High and is currently Logistics Supervisor at Best Buy as well as the owner of the South King County Colts Football organization in Auburn, WA.

“After over 20 years of playing football and running two successful football organizations for four years, we decided to take on the challenge of creating a professional basketball team in the ABA,” added Chris. “Our experience in running these two football programs of over 40 plus players on each team and a team of staffed volunteers, we believe we can take our experience and create a really successful ABA team.”

The team will be playing at Evergreen State College and will hold its first tryout April 14th at Evergreen.

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com today announced that it would return to Las Vegas, NV next season with the addition of the Las Vegas Knights. “We are very pleased to be returning to the entertainment capital of the world after a year’s hiatus,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. “And we are also very pleased with the ownership group led by Kent Buckner and Lynn Pingol. On and off the court they will be a dynamic duo with tons of basketball and business experience.” The team will compete in the Southern California Division.

Kent Buckner has been a Celebrity Fitness Trainer and Basketball Shooting Coach for 22 years, including with the NBA Atlanta Hawks players, WNBA, NBDL and Olympic Gold Medalist Teresa Edwards. As a coach, he was a part of 4-State Championship High School teams in Georgia and South Carolina and is currently Owner and Founder of the K-Fit Program in Las Vegas, a fitness program designed for kids.

Lynn Pingol werves as the CEO for the K-Fit Program. With experiences in developing and launching businesses in Las Vegas for the past 15 years, Lynn brings her advanced education, organization and skills in marketing, human resources and management acumen to the new ABA team. She has managed over $250 million in assets for several businesses and continues to prove that she can take projects head on and steer them in the right direct. Lynn will serve as GM of the Las Vegas Knights while Kent will handle the on the court operation.

“Getting a real solid team in Las Vegas has been a bit of a struggle in the past years,” added Buckner. “But I have no doubt that Lynn and I can put things together here and make it one of the very best organizations in the ABA. After all, this is the sports and entertainment capital of the world - it just takes the right efrort.” For more information, e email Lynn Pingol at kfitprogram@yahoo.com or call 602 670 6559 or email Kent Buckner at kentbuckner365@gmail.com or call 702 416 7273 or visit www.abaliive.com.

And what makes them think they will succeed in Vegas when so many other ABA teams there have flopped?

Because unlike those failed teams, these two are ready to put in the "right efrort"

Fixed that for Joe.

After all, once she sees the disaster she's signed on for, she'll be swerving to avoid all of the pitfalls...

Just ABA teams? No basketball team in any league has ever survived in Vegas.

Here's a shocker... just like with the LV Vipers, LV Slam, LV Aces, and the other ABA teams that we've "had" here in Las Vegas, this team has had NO coverage locally. I'm sure they'll end up playing in some po-dunk rec center gym and will fold after two games.
