More problems for Corpus Christi indoor football. The Rage, our newest team announced today they have canceled their final game of the season. They were scheduled to host the High Country Grizzlies Friday night at the American Bank Center, but decided to call it quits after going 0-9.

It was a season filled with many downers, they were pretty much blown out in every game and attendance was dismal. They averaged less than 500 fans per game. We reached out to the Rage for comment, but they did not return our phone calls. They join the likes of the Fury, Sharks and Hammerheads who failed to make it in the indoor football business. It is of no surprise that this was the end result, the NAL itself fail in this regard as well, while the Mexico team has been able to secure a place at the power table with that attendance, it fell apart on the field. But will they return to the NAL you can count on the AFL talking with them about joining, the Sharks will probably talk with old running mates Arizona and former AFL club members who play in the league with (zona) about coming in to save the NAL as it stands today. It will be an interesting off season..
