Just saw this!

It seems that MISL was also trying to lure this team back into the fold. It's beginning to look like PASL-Pro is developing a better plan.

...and the Dallas Sidekicks are back too!!!!

This article from Pennlive.com

says the league is adding a Las Vegas team and hopeful of a Philadelphia franchise as well

If you look back at their first life span, they did way better (competition wise and financial wise) competing in the NPSL than they did in the MISL so it's not a complete shocker they joined the PASL. However, being the only team on the East Coast, it is.

They really missed out on playing in the MISL. They would've had a really good rivalry with Baltimore again (they would see my face and a hundred or so other Blast fans at their games) and they would've also maybe had rivalries with the New York teams (supposedly there may be three or four of them next year.)

Cincinnati, Canton, Louisville (another throwback to the AISA), and Detroit have all fielded recent teams. Whether they will be back for 2012-13, I don't know for certain.

Baltimore/Harrisburg would've been a sweet thing, but it wasn't meant to be. :(
