I wish I knew more but several on the message board don't think very highly of him. However the UIFL seems to be putting out a good product, and I like the fact they seem to be staying reginal.

Man you know I was just screwing with you about that score. Hell, I hadn't seen the rest of the thread and had no idea what was going on or I would have kept my mouth shut.
I just playing around like always but, you knew that already I hope

The Generals seemed to be very successful on and off the field. I always liked the uniforms and mascot. By the way did all the uniforms get sold? Texarkana sounds interesting. Tyler might work not sure about the venue. Where would you play in Tyler? I am afraid Beaumont and Waco would take some work cleaning up the tarnished past ownerships left from failed indoor teams. I just think Beaumont both the Civic Center and Ford Park are desperate for a tenant. Beaumont had pretty good press coverage but too often it was bad news coming from failed ownership attempts.

If I were to get back into indoor football, my first choice, assuming it made sense geographically, would be to go back to El Paso. It's a great market and the Generals were quite successful there in their first season. However, there are several good markets in eastern Texas that are ready for expansion teams as well; Beaumont, Texarkana, Waco and Tyler just to name a few.
