Skyhawks Set Team Record for Made Threes in 115-112 Win over Nets

College Park, Ga. - The College Park Skyhawks (7-3) secured a home victory over the Long Island Nets (4-4), 115-112 on Monday. The Skyhawks set a team record for made three-pointers with 21 makes on 44 attempts in the win. Tyson Etienne led the Skyhawks with a career-high 23 points on a career-best 6-11 3FG. Hawks two-way players Seth Lundy (16 points) and Miles Norris (14 points) combined for 30 points. The Skyhawks started the game on an 11-3 run that extended to their biggest lead of the quarter at 28-12 with 5:48 left in the first, propelled by a barrage of three-pointers from Lundy ... Jaxsen Wiebe Reassigned by Ducks to Gulls

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Anaheim Ducks and AHL's San Diego Gulls, and powered by Community Care, announced Monday the reassignment of rookie forward Jaxsen Wiebe by the Anaheim Ducks to the San Diego Gulls. Wiebe, 21, appeared in three games for the Oilers, notching four points (2G, 2A). The NHL contract scored his first pro goal on Dec. 2 against Utah, earning a Gordie Howe Hat Trick in the effort. BASEBALL Pioneer Baseball League: The independent Pioneer League, which is a partner league with Major League Baseball, announced a new team called the Oakland Ballers, or Oakland B's, will be added for the 2024 season and part of the league's proposed new Pacific West Division. A second team based in Northern California is expected to be added to the new division in January.
