Portland, Ore. - James Stefan's first WHL regular-season hat-trick highlighted Portland's return to the win column as the Winterhawks took a wild 8-5 win over the Spokane Chiefs on Friday night. A WHL debut is a special moment for any young man, a game they will not likely forget. Few players in the league's history, however, authored a debut as memorable as the one Jaxon Jacobson had against the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Port Huron Prowlers earned their first victory over the Motor City Rockers, 5-3 at McMorran Place on Dec. 8.
