Parada and Rudick Homer in Ninth, Binghamton Blanks Portland in Season Finale
PORTLAND, Maine - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies (34-35, 69-67) hit two home runs in the ninth inning and shutout the Portland Sea Dogs, 4-0, on Sunday at Hadlock Field in the season finale. Binghamton won four of six games in the series and finished the season two games above .500 overall. Senators Rally to Win Season Finale
The Harrisburg Senators defeated the Reading Fightin Phils 4-2 in comeback fashion Sunday afternoon at FNB Field to end the season. Harrisburg trailed 2-0 until the Sens rallied for four runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to take the 4-2 lead. Gustavo Campero Promoted to LA Angels
MADISON, Al. - The Los Angeles Angels have selected the contract of Outfielder Gustavo Campero, the 2024 Trash Pandas Hitter of the Year. In 93 games with the Trash Pandas this season, Campero finished with a .279 average with 14 home runs and 45 RBI to go along with 29 stolen bases. Campero ranks third in Trash Pandas single-season history in stolen bases and ranks tied for second with four triples. The outfielder also set a single season record with 20 hit by pitches. Sea Dogs Announce 2004 Team Awards
Portland, Maine - The Portland Sea Dogs presented their annual team awards before the final game of the regular season on Sunday at Hadlock Field. Roman An thony was awarded team MVP while Isaac Coffey earned Pitcher of the Year honors. Kristian Campbell earned Defensive Player of the Year and Elih Marrero was voted the Charlie Eshbach Citizen of the Year Award. The awards are voted on annually by the fans.
