PORTLAND, OR (AP) - Portland Coach Dick Conry says you won't find a better quarterback than Jim Kelly or a faster football team than the Houston Gamblers.
The combination of Kelly's arm and the Gamblers' blazing speed overwhelmed Coury's Breakers 45-7 Monday night, allowing Houston to regain sole possession of first place in the Western Conference of the United States Football League.
Richard Johnson, returning to full speed after a series of annoying injuries, caught a USFL record four scoring passes.
