2016 NWSL Awards Finalists Revealed

September 27, 2016 - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced Tuesday the list of finalists for Most Valuable Player, Defender of the Year presented by Coppertone(r) from Bayer's Consumer Health Division, Goalkeeper of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year and Best XI. Forward Tasha Kai Undergoes Successful Left Ankle Surgery

September 26, 2016 - Tinton Falls, N.J.- Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that forward Tasha Kai underwent successful surgery on her left ankle earlier this morning. Kai, who scored her fourth goal of the year last night in Sky Blue FC's 2016 season finale, had the arthroscopic procedure to clean up her ankle after suffering a few nagging injuries over the course of the season. Western New York Flash Forward Lynn Williams Wins 2016 NWSL Golden Boot

September 26, 2016 - BUFFALO, NY - Western New York Flash forward Lynn Williams was honored Monday as the winner of 2016 NWSL Golden Boot, awarded to the player with the most goals during the regular season. Williams, 23, finished the season with 11 goals in 19 appearances - tied for the league lead with Houston Dash forward Kealia Ohai.
