Seattle Reign FC Re-Sign Rachel Corsie

December 8, 2016 - SEATTLE - Seattle Reign FC has announced the re-signing of defender Rachel Corsie for the 2017 season. Corsie has been with the club since 2015. Per team and league policy, the terms of the deals were not disclosed. Corsie, sidelined most of the 2016 season due to injury, made 12 appearances for Reign FC, starting in 11. December 6, 2016 - KANSAS CITY- FC Kansas City defender Becky Sauerbrunn was named one of five nominees for U.S. Soccer's Female Player of the Year award. The winner will be announced on Sunday, December 11th. Along with Sauerbrunn, other nominees were forwards Crystal Dunn and Alex Morgan and midfielders Tobin Heath and Carli Lloyd.
