August 28, 2016 - CRESTWOOD, IL - The ThunderBolts jumped out to a 7-0 lead over the first four innings and cruised to a 7-1 win over the Schaumburg Boomers at Standard Bank Stadium Saturday night. The win was the Bolts' third in a row. Coco Johnson got the scoring started for Windy City (39-49) in the first inning, hitting his sixth home run of the year, a solo shot. August 26, 2016 - CRESTWOOD, IL - The ThunderBolts broke a 1-1 tie with five unanswered runs in the sixth and seventh innings to win their second straight game, defeating the Schaumburg Boomers 6-1 at Standard Bank Stadium Friday night. The Bolts (38-49) wasted little time in scoring as Tim Zier led off the bottom of the first inning with a triple. He scored on a Coco Johnson groundout. August 25, 2016 - JOLIET, IL - After losing a late tie in game one of a doubleheader against the Joliet Slammers, the ThunderBolts snapped their ten-game losing streak with a 7-4 win in game two at Silver Cross Field Thursday night. In game one, Mike Garza began the scoring for the Slammers (46-40) in the second inning. He followed a Melvin Rodriguez single with a two-run homer. ThunderBolts Lose Ninth Straight in Opener at Joliet

August 23, 2016 - The Windy City ThunderBolts suffered their ninth straight loss Tuesday night as they fell in the series opener to the Joliet Slammers 6-1 at Silver Cross Field. The losing streak is the team's longest in more than five years. Alfredo Rodriguez singled to lead off the bottom of the first inning for Joliet (45-39).
