Spits Pull Away in Third, Beat Wolves 6-1

February 4, 2016 - (Windsor, ON) - Christian Fischer (2G, 1A) and Mikhail Sergachev (1G, 2A) each had three points and the Spitfires scored four unanswered goals in the third period in a 6-1 win Thursday night at the WFCU Centre. Mario Culina made 13 saves for the win in goal and chipped in a pair of assists, as Windsor (31-14-5-0) pushed its lead over the Sarnia Sting to five points for first in the West Division. A recently created cut-out designed to allow fans to take fun selfies on the concourse during home games, the 7th Man went missing following the club's 8-3 win over the London Knights last Saturday. February 3, 2016 - Michael DiPietro is our Precision Jewellers Player of the Month for January. The rookie goaltender began a fantastic month making 30 saves for his second shutout of the season against the Owen Sound Attack at the WFCU Centre on January 7th. The effort helped him secure the Canadian Hockey League's Vaughn Goaltender of the Week for the period ended January 10th. Stanley Named Motorburger Player of the Week

February 3, 2016 - (Windsor, ON) - Strong all-around play last weekend has earned defenceman Logan Stanley Motorburger Player of the Week honours. Stanley, 17, scored two goals - the first multi-goal game of his OHL career - in a huge 8-3 win over the London Knights Saturday, while turning in a big effort in his own zone.
