July 21, 2016 - Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced this afternoon the team has come to terms with forward Alexis Loiseau (LOU-ah-zoh) for the 2016-17 season. Thunder Lands Affiliation Agreement with Ottawa Senators

July 14, 2016 - Wichita, KS (July 14th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, is excited to announce that the team has entered into an affiliation agreement with the National Hockey League's Ottawa Senators and the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators for the 2016-17 season. Thunder Stays in New-Look Central Division

July 11, 2016 - Princeton, NJ - The ECHL announced on Monday the divisional alignment for the 2016-17 season. The Thunder will remain in the Central Division of the Western Conference, but will have plenty of new faces. Joining the Thunder will be the Fort Wayne Komets, Indy Fuel, Kalamazoo Wings, Quad City Mallards, Toledo Walleye and Tulsa Oilers.
