Third Period Collapse Gives Cats Fourth Straight Loss

February 6, 2016 - In their final game against the Odessa Jackalopes this season, the Wildcats fell apart in the third period and were defeated by a score of 5-4. Believing Odessa's goaltender Jon Flakne was due for an off-night, the Wildcats got the ball rolling right away. Just 1:24 into the period, Trent Dillinger snuck a shot through the equipment of Flakne for his second goal as a Wildcat. Cats Drop Heartbreaker in Shootout Friday

February 5, 2016 - Playing in their second game of a three-game road series, the Wildcats were defeated by the Odessa Jackalopes in the shootout by a score of 4-3 Friday night. The first period was not dominated by the Wildcats like it was Thursday night. Despite having some tremendous scoring chances early on, they failed to solve Jon Flakne. February 4, 2016 - Playing in their first and only three-game road series of the season, the Wildcats were defeated by the Odessa Jackalopes by a score of 3-2 Thursday night. Odessa had not defeated Wichita Falls once through their first seven matchups this season, and they were as hungry as any team to finally take them down. February 1, 2016 - Wildcats center Aleksi Poikola has been named the South Division's First Star of the Week, the NAHL announced Monday. A native of Espoo, Finland, Poikola is the only player on the Wildcats who is currently playing in his first season in North America. Having played his entire life in Europe, Poikola has had to adjust to the quicker and more physical pace of North American hockey.
