Everett wins over Seattle

February 7, 2016 - KENT, Wash. - Carson Stadnyk and Graham Millar each punched in two goals and Remi Laurencelle earned an assist in his return to the lineup, helping the first place Everett Silvertips cruise past the Seattle Thunderbirds in a 4-1 victory before an announced crowd of 5,316 at ShoWare Center on Saturday in WHL action. The victory extended the Silvertips lead to nine points for first place in the U.S. Division, their largest lead of the season, buoyed by Carter Hart's 23 saves to seize his league-leading 31st win. Tri-City Punishes Spokane 4-1

February 7, 2016 - Kennewick, WA- The Tri-City Americans (24-25-2-1, 51 pts) ended a three game home stand on a high note, scoring three goals in the second period en route to a 4-1 win over the Spokane Chiefs (26-21-3-2, 57 pts) in front of 4,217 fans at Toyota Center on Saturday Night. The game was back and forth in the first period, with both teams recording nine shots in the period. There were some scoring chances, but neither team could find the net in the first. Royals Best Winterhawks

February 7, 2016 - Portland, OR- The Victoria Royals scored three goals in the third period as they took down the Portland Winterhawks 3-1 on Saturday night for their eighth straight win. With the victory, the Royals set the new franchise record for most consecutive wins at eight. The previous best was seven, which Victoria set twice from February 7 - 19 of the 2013-14 campaign and January 15- 26 during the 2012-13 season. Kelowna wins in Shootout

February 6, 2016 - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Calgary Hitmen 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, coming from behind to earn the win. Michael Herringer stopped all three Calgary shooters and Justin Kirkland scored in the shootout for Kelowna to give the Rockets the win. Herringer turned aside 31 of 33 shots through regulation and overtime, including four in the overtime period, as the Rockets improved to 36-14-3-0 on the season.
