Power Add Six to Front Office Staff

February 10, 2016 - CHARLESTON, WV - The West Virginia Power are pleased to announce the hiring of six additional staff members. Several key positions were available and an extensive search produced five employees with previous experience in professional baseball and one with a resume built in the food services industry. February 3, 2016 - CHARLESTON, WV - The West Virginia Power are seeking game day employees for the upcoming season and will hold a job fair on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Charleston Town Center. The job fair will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will run until 2:00 p.m. in Macy's Court. Power Sets 2016 Game Times

January 21, 2016 - CHARLESTON, WV - The West Virginia Power have announced game times for their home portion of the 2016 schedule. The Power, an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will once again begin most games at 7:05 p.m., but will also have two morning and several afternoon start times. Power 2016 Field Staff Announced

December 15, 2015 - CHARLESTON, WV - The Pittsburgh Pirates, parent club to the West Virginia Power, have announced the field staff for each of their Minor League Baseball affiliates. The 2016 Power staff will be led by manager Brian Esposito, who led the 2015 club to a franchise-record 87 wins and a playoff berth. Esposito will be joined by new pitching and hitting coaches in 2016.
