Garcia and Worrell Earn WCL Weekly Accolades

July 26, 2016 - The West Coast League Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, as announced by league president Donnie Marbut, are San Diego junior first baseman Roman Garcia of the Corvallis Knights and UC Riverside junior pitcher Jacob Worrell of the Cowlitz Black Bears for the week of July 18-24. Worrell pitched six no-hit innings last night at Vince Genna Stadium to earn the win in a combined shutout of Bend, 6-0. July 25, 2016 - CORVALLIS, OR - It will be another happy bus ride home for the Victoria HarbourCats after taking the rubber match of their three-game series against the Corvallis Knights, 5-0 at Goss Stadium on Monday evening. Knights Lose Game 3 of the Series

July 22, 2016 - GRESHAM, Ore. - Future Cal Poly infielder Scott Ogrin drove in two runs but the Corvallis Knights lost 5-3 at Gresham on Friday in the rubber game of their West Coast League series. Ogrin singled home the Knights' first run in the third and knocked in another run in the sixth to draw the Knights within 3-2. Bells Comeback Stuns Victoria

July 22, 2016 - A Matt DiLeo three run homerun over the left field fence tied the game and a five run top half of the 10th allowed the Bells to defeat the Victoria HarbourCats Thursday night at Royal Athletic Park. Bellingham, who didn't get a runner on base until sixth and had no hits heading to the top of the eighth inning, trailed 3-0. Matt Ruff walked to begin the threat.
