February 5, 2016 - The Des Moines Buccaneers scored four of their five first period goals within a 2:02 span, dashing past the Waterloo Black Hawks 6-3 at Buccaneer Arena Friday. Nikita Pavlychev scored the first and last goals of the opening period, both from close range, beginning at 12:13. Three other Buccaneer tallies were wedged in between from Justin Howell, Patrick Grasso, and David Keefer by 14:15. The lone Waterloo goal came on a long shot in transition by Zach Yon at 17:26. Hawks/Force Announce Deal

February 1, 2016 - Waterloo, Iowa - The Waterloo Black Hawks and Fargo Force have exchanged veteran forwards in a trade announced by the clubs Wednesday. In the swap, the Hawks acquired Zach Yon, a University of North Dakota recruit ranked second among the Force in goals (13) and third in points (22). In return, Niko Hildenbrand will join the Force.
