May 27, 2016 - BOYDS, Md - The Houston Dash vs. Washington Spirit match scheduled for this evening has been postponed to a date to be determined. The Dash, in consultation with the National Women's Soccer League, made the decision in the interest of fan, public, and player safety. The weather forecast calls for sustained rain and lightning around BBVA Compass Stadium throughout the evening. Washington Spirit Falls to Portland Thorns on the Road

May 21, 2016 - PORTLAND, Ore - The Washington Spirit (4-1-1, 13 points) faced its first loss of the season on the road against the Portland Thorns (3-0-3, 12 points). Unlike the last meeting between the two teams in early May that ended in a scoreless draw, tonight's game ended with 4-1 in favor of the Thorns.
