Cougars Edge Giants in High Scoring Thriller

September 28, 2016 - Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants got six goals from six different players but lost a thriller by a score to 7-6 to the visiting Prince George Cougars on Tuesday evening at the Langley Events Centre. 16-year-old defenceman Alex Kannok-Leipert scored his first WHL goal for Vancouver while Dylan Plouffe, Brendan Semchuk, Taden Rattie, Jack Flaman and Radovan Bondra also found the net. Skeoch and Bondra Returned to Giants

September 27, 2016 - Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants announced on Tuesday that forward Radovan Bondra and defenceman Darian Skeoch have been returned to the Giants. Both players are expected to suit up against the Prince George Cougars tonight at the Langley Events Centre. Bondra, who hails from Trebisov, Slovakia, scored 30 points in 58 games for Vancouver in 2015/16. The 19-year-old winger was in training camp with the Chicago Blackhawks. September 25, 2016 - Everett, WA - The Vancouver Giants lost their first road game of the 2016/17 WHL season on Saturday evening, falling 3-1 to the Everett Silvertips at the XFINITY Arena. Jack Flaman was Vancouver's lone goal scorer. Graham Miller opened the scoring for Everett just 3:30 into the opening frame, beating Giants' goalie Ryan Kubic while the teams were playing 4-on-4. September 24, 2016 - Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants lost 7-3 to the Everett Silvertips on Friday night in front of a sellout crowd of 4,875 at the Langley Events Centre. Dawson Holt scored twice for Vancouver while Jack Flaman also found the net in the loss.
