USSSA Pride Fall Tour Heads South

October 4, 2016 - Kissimmee, FL-USSSA is excited to announce that the Pride are heading south in October for part two of the 2016 Fall Tour. The Pride will make seven stops throughout Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas and will face six teams who made the NCAA Tournament last year including the 2016 NCAA National Champion Oklahoma Sooners. Four of their games are against teams who finished in the Top 20 last year - (1) Oklahoma, (8) LSU, (12) Louisiana, and (17) Texas A&M. August 21, 2016 - Whatever chance the Akron Racers had of knocking off the top-seeded USSSA Pride in the semifinal round of the NPF Championship Series dissipated in a long sixth inning Sunday at Rhoads Stadium. A quartet of Akron pitchers threw a total of 56 pitches in the inning as the Pride batted around in a revolving-door attack to score four runs on the way to a 6-2 victory. Kelly Kretschman Named First Triple Crown Winner in NPF History

August 17, 2016 - Kissimmee, FL- Kelly Kretschman has made NPF history becoming the first Pro Fastpitch player to earn the prestigious Triple Crown award in her 11th year in the league. At nearly 37 years of age, Kretschman led the NPF in batting average (.466), home runs (13) and RBI (45) to earn the league's first ever Triple Crown title this summer. Pride End Regular Season with a Win

August 12, 2016 - Kissimmee, FL -he USSSA Pride ended their regular season in the same way they started it: with a win. In their final game of the regular season, the Pride defeated the Akron Racers in a tight contest that ended in a score of 4-3. The scoring started in the third inning. The Racers jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to a double from Sami Fagan.
