Kenny Brooks Among Three Storm Alumni to Sign Pro Deals in ECHL

July 15, 2016 - Kearney, Neb. - Former Tri-City Storm players Kenny Brooks, Simon Denis and Bill Eiserman have signed contracts in the ECHL. The three were teammates on Tri-City in 2010-11. Brooks has signed with the Atlanta Gladiators, the ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins. The 24-year-old forward played for the Storm from 2009-12 and captained Tri-City in 2011-12. Brooks skated for Penn State from 2012-16. He is the son of Storm owner Kirk Brooks. Denis has inked with the Toledo Walleye, the Detroit Red Wings' ECHL affiliate. The ... Full Story

Storm D Jace Foskey Named to Team USA'S Roster at Five Nations Tournament

July 15, 2016 - Kearney, Neb. -Tri-City Storm defenseman Jace Foskey has been named to USA Hockey's Under-17 Select Team that will compete at the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament August 9-13. Foskey, 16, participated in the Storm's Tryout Camp in June and was the Tri-City's Phase I first-round pick in the 2016 USHL Draft. He is 6-foot-3, 183 pounds. Two Tri-City Storm Players Announce College Commitments

July 6, 2016 - Kearney, Neb. - Tri-City Storm forward Paul Washe has announced his commitment to Western Michigan University and defenseman Jack McNeely has committed to play at Minnesota State University. Each played in the Clark Cup playoffs for the Storm and are expected to return this season. Washe, 17, was the Storm's youngest player in 2015-16 and contributed with nine goals and 16 points in 56 games. He appeared in six Storm postseason games. Storm Defenseman Nate Clurman Selected in Sixth Round by Colorado Avalanche

June 25, 2016 - Buffalo, N.Y. - Storm defenseman Nate Clurman was selected in the sixth round, No. 161 overall by the Colorado Avalache in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft Saturday at the First Niagara Center. Clurman, 18, was a member of the Storm's affiliate list in 2015-16 and played the last three seasons for the Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana.
