Stars Begin Road Trip with 5-3 Loss To San Jose

February 20, 2017 - SAN JOSE - Ludwig Bystrom scored his first two goals of the season for the Texas Stars, but the power play unit for the San Jose Barracuda was too much to overcome in a 5-3 loss on Monday evening in front of 4,261 fans in attendance at SAP Center to begin a six-game road trip. John McCarthy and Daniel O'Regan each scored a pair of goals for San Jose (31-11-1-3) in the game. Remi Elie also scored for Texas (24-22-1-2) in the loss. Texas Signs Aaron Harstad to Tryout Agreement

February 19, 2017 - CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced Sunday the team has signed defenseman Aaron Harstad to a professional tryout agreement. Harstad (HAR-stad), 22, joins the Stars after appearing in 37 ECHL games this season, 33 with the Norfolk Admirals and four with the Idaho Steelheads. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound blueliner competed in 26 games last season for the AHL's Manitoba Moose, recording four assists. The Stevens Point, Wisc. native is a former seventh-round... Full Story

Stars Win Streak Ends in 4-1 Loss To Wolves

February 18, 2017 - CEDAR PARK, Texas - Pheonix Copley held the Texas Stars offense to just one goal and the Chicago Wolves picked up a weekend split with a 4-1 win on Saturday night at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in front of 6,422 fans in attendance. Ethan Werek was the lone goal-scorer for the Stars (24-21-1-2) and Nick Ebert tallied an assist to extend his point streak to six games.
