Roulette Signs with ECHL's Tulsa Oilers
April 11, 2024 - Tulsa, Okla. - Spokane Chiefs forward Conner Roulette has signed with the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL. A 20-year-old forward from Winnipeg, MB, Roulette posted a career-high 108 points (45G-63A) in 68 games for the Chiefs this past season. Standing at 5'10, 186 pounds, he also racked up 1.59 points-per-game in his final season. Roulette played 259 career regular season games in the WHL as well as 47 additional playoff games. April 11, 2024 - Calgary, Alta. - Chiefs Head Coach Ryan Smith named as Team Canada's Assistant Coach at the 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship, April 25 through May 5 in Espoo and Vantaa, Finland. Smith returns to Hockey Canada after serving as Team Canada's Head Coach for the Youth Olympic Games in South Korea this winter, where he coached current Chiefs prospects G Carter Esler and F Mathis Preston. April 10, 2024 - Portland, Maine - Spokane Chiefs forward Ty Cheveldayoff has signed with the Maine Mariners of the East Coast Hockey League on an Amateur Tryout (ATO). A 20-year-old forward from Edmonton, AB, Cheveldayoff posted 35 points (12G-23A) in 57 games for the Chiefs this past season. Standing at 6'3, 224 pounds, he also racked up 108 penalty minutes.
