Rampage To Host 2016-17 Home Opener On October 15

July 27, 2016 - SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage will play the first home game of their 15th American Hockey League season on Saturday, Oct. 15. The AT&T Center will play host to two games during the league's opening weekend with the second home contest on Sunday, Oct. 16. The entire 2016-17 regular season schedule will be released at a later date, along with game times and opponents. Season tickets for 2016-17 are now on sale and start as low as $10 per game. July 6, 2016 - SAN ANTONIO - The Colorado Avalanche and the San Antonio Rampage announced today that Eric Veilleux (VAY-you) has been named head coach of the Rampage. Veilleux, 44, spent the last two seasons with the Norfolk Admirals, first as an assistant in the American Hockey League during the 2014-15 season and then as the head coach when the team moved to the ECHL for the 2015-16 campaign. Avalanche Selects Jost in First Round

June 24, 2016 - BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club selected forward Tyson Jost (JO-st) with the 10th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft held tonight at First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York. Jost, 18, was named the British Columbia Hockey League Most Valuable Player this past season after tallying 104 points (42 goals, 62 assists) in 48 games for the Penticton Vees.
