Pats Kids Club Members Can be a Part of the Game

September 28, 2016 - Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats are offering Kids Club members the chance to announce the team's starting line-up before every Sunday game this season. This is a new initiative through the Kids Club Program which is presented by SaskMilk. Ahead of the team's Sunday home games, a member of the Pats Kids Club will be chosen to welcome the team as they come on to the ice, and announce the home starting lineup. Rangers Reassign Zborovskiy to Regina

September 27, 2016 - Regina, Saskatchewan - The NHL's New York Rangers have assigned defenceman Sergey Zborovskiy back to the Regina Pats. Zborovskiy is a signed prospect of the Rangers and was selected in the third round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The Moscow, Russia product, scored eight goals and added 17 assists in 2015/16 and is entering his 19-year-old season. Four Pats remain at NHL training camps. Pats Upend Raiders

September 24, 2016 - Regina, Saskatchewan - Jake Leschyshyn scored twice and added an assist to lead the Pats to their first win of the season, 4-2 in Prince Albert. Lane Zablocki chipped in with a goal and a helper while Braydon Buziak scored his second goal in his second game of his WHL career. The Pats led 1-0 but Prince Albert came back to lead 2-1 in the second. But the Pats responded with 3 unanswered and improved to 1-0-1-0. Jordan Hollett made 28 saves in the win. Pats Fall in Overtime

September 24, 2016 - Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats outshot the Prince Albert Raiders 45-30 on Friday night but lost their home opener 4-3 in overtime. Ian Scott made 43 saves in the win while Simon Stransky scored twice including the overtime winner. The Pats were led by Chase Harrison who had a goal and an assist. Braydon Buziak scored his first career WHL goal and Dawson Leedahl and Filip Ahl both recorded their first points in a Pats uniform. Tyler Brown made 26 saves in the loss.
