Phoenix Mercury Announce 2024 Preseason Schedule
March 11, 2024 - PHOENIX - The Phoenix Mercury today announced the team's two-game preseason schedule. The Mercury will travel to Seattle to take on the Storm on Tuesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. PT at Climate Pledge Arena, before returning home to Footprint Center to face the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday, May 10 at 7 p.m. PT. Preseason broadcast and ticket information will be announced at a later date. Phoenix Mercury Signs Sug Sutton to Training Camp Contract
February 27, 2024 - PHOENIX - The Phoenix Mercury today announced the signing of guard Sug Sutton to a training camp contract. Sutton appeared in all 40 games (12 starts) for Phoenix last season and averaged 8.2 points, a team-high 4.8 assists (9th in WNBA), and 2.6 rebounds per game. Sutton recorded the first triple-double in Mercury history, posting 18 points to go with 11 assists and 11 rebounds (both career highs) against the Las Vegas Aces on September 8. February 6, 2024 - PHOENIX - The Phoenix Mercury have acquired All-Star and WNBA Champion wing Kahleah Copper and forward Morgan Bertsch from the Chicago Sky in exchange for forwards Brianna Turner and Michaela Onyenwere, along with the Mercury's first-round picks in 2024 (third overall) and 2026, the team announced today.
