Kurtis Foster Joins Petes as Assistant Coach

July 25, 2016 - Peterborough, ON- The Peterborough Petes have named OHL and NHL veteran Kurtis Foster an Assistant Coach. Foster will join the Petes' coaching staff this summer in preparation for the 2016/17 season, and will work with players during practice and off-ice sessions while serving as the "eye in the sky" during games. Foster, a native of Carp, Ontario, played 405 NHL games between the Atlanta Thrashers, Minnesota Wild, Tampa Bay Lightning, Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, New Jersey Devils, and Philadelphia Flyers, scoring 42 ... Petes Select Igor Martynov in Second Round of CHL Import Draft

June 28, 2016 - (Peterborough, ON) - With the 83rd overall pick in the 2016 CHL Import Draft on Tuesday morning, Petes GM Michael Oke selected Igor Martynov from Belarus. The 6'0", 181lbs forward played 34 games in the Belarus2 league in 2015/16, scoring 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points with Dinamo-Raubichi.
