Ice Flyers Win 3-2 Again, Take 2-0 Series Lead

May 1, 2016 - PEORIA, Ill. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers (6-0) took a two games to none lead in the 2016 SPHL President's Cup Final against the Peoria Rivermen (4-3) with a 3-2 win on Sunday evening inside Carver Arena inside the Peoria Civic Center. The Rivermen opened the scoring 10:11 into the first when Dave Pszenyczny beat a screened Matt Zenzola from the left wing boards. April 30, 2016 - PEORIA, Ill. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers (5-0) had three goals from three different scorers to secure a 3-2 over the Peoria Rivermen (4-2) and take a 1-0 series win in the best-of-five SPHL President's Cup Final. April 24, 2016 - SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers (4-0) relied on the double overtime heroics of Brandon Zurn to secure a 6-5 win over the Mississippi RiverKings (2-2) on Saturday night inside the Landers Center. Corey Banfield scored his first of the playoffs four minutes into the first period. Jeremy Gates had the only assist on the goal.
