BayHawks Receive Three Players and First Round Pick for Goalie Tyler Fiorito

February 5, 2016 - ANNAPOLIS, MD - The Chesapeake Bayhawks announced Friday that they received a 2017 first round college pick and three players (midfielders Tyler German and Greg Coholan, as well as attackman Ryan Young) from the Boston Cannons in exchange for goalie Tyler Fiorito and a 2017 seventh round supplemental draft pick. "This deal makes sense for both teams," Bayhawks Head Coach Brian Reese said. "Tyler is one of, if not the best, goalies in the MLL. February 4, 2016 - With it's selection of Marquette University long-stick midfielder Liam Byrnes, the Florida Launch made MLL history. BayHawks Select Maloney as Top Pick in 2016 MLL Collegiate Draft

January 28, 2016 - The Chesapeake Bayhawks made Albany midfielder, John Maloney, their top selection in the 2016 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft, held on Friday afternoon in Baltimore. The Bayhawks chose Maloney in the third round and the 22ndoverall selection. The Bayhawks acquired that pick from the Florida Launch for attackman, Niko Pontrello. Maloney was named second team All-America East as a junior after scoring 16 goals and dishing off 20 assists last season. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound product of Victor, New York also gobbled ... Cannons Take Seven in MLL Draft

January 25, 2016 - Boston, M.A. - The 2016 Major League Lacrosse draft was held last Friday in Baltimore, M.D. amidst a historical winter storm barrelling down on the city. The Cannons selected seven players throughout the course of the eight rounds. The draft kicked off with commisioner David Gross making three big trade announcements.
